In Game 10 of the World Chess Championship in Bonn, Vladimir Kramnik won his first game. He now trails Viswanathan Anand by two games with two games to play. A draw in either game will secure the championship for Anand. Two more Kramnik wins will force rapid game tiebreaks.

Darn! Let's hope Anand draws game 11.
ReplyDeleteI want to watch the final game, and I get only an hour tomorrow. Add to that my support of Kramnik, and I am compelled to disagree with your hope.
ReplyDeleteWhen was the last time Anand lost two games in a row? I suspect that's something truly rare.
